Hello friends, acquaintances, and family
I hope you’re having a safe and joyful holiday season. If you’re reading this, know that I miss you actively.
I’d like to share a fictional series I just launched. Producing it consumed the past four months and it’s probably the most “finished product” I’ve made… which is why I’m sharing with this formal email now.
It’s called Spacetime Diaries and it currently lives as a podcast. I’m not sure how this idea will evolve, but broadly it’s a vessel for telling science- and speculative-fiction stories. This first season is an eight-episode, 75-minute musical space adventure called “The Disappearing.” You can listen to it now:

"But... what is it?" It's a science fiction story told with narration, dialogue, sound effects, score, and songs. I'm going for an immersive experience, like cinema for your ears. Or something. Anyway, people seem to be enjoying it.
75 minutes is a tall ask today, I know -- but I was pressed for time and couldn’t make a shorter one. Perhaps there's a drive/train ride/bit of down time lurking in your holiday itinerary. Maybe you're not doing much of anything right now -- this bit of adventure could add to your holiday fun.
Many friends in New York, Portland, and California worked on it with me, for which I am very grateful. Not only because they brought their genius and talent to this project -- it also provided a way to stay connected in their lives. In many cases, even deepen our friendship.

My big regret with this project is that I was unable to pay my friends for their contributions. Please make a donation to my Patreon, 100% of the money will go towards paying talent in the second season. The more I raise the bigger we can go! https://www.patreon.com/ghan, thanks! |

Have a listen, and feel free to subscribe to get updated on new episodes/seasons. Or even if you don’t really do the “subscribe to podcasts” thing, please just do it anyway. I think the podcasting robots feed on subscribes so it will help me reach whatever idiosyncratic niche audience I might have. And if you'd like, share with anyone you think might get a kick out of it. |

Shoot me a note if I haven’t heard from you in a while -- I just wrapped up a huge creative project, so I finally have free time to chat!
I hope you’re having a lovely holiday season!

PS: this email was sent via mailchimp... if you'd prefer not to hear from me about future projects for whatever reason, please feel free to unsubscribe. It won't offend my feelings. Otherwise, I'll keep you infrequently posted on new work!
