March 2021 press + introducing Meditations

Originally emailed April 27, 2021, we introduce Meditations, season 2 of Spacetime Diaries.

Embody an alien:

"Star Child" by Vera Atlantia

The next installment of Spacetime Diaries will guide you through a meditation that will transport you to the distant planet of Ankhara, where you will embody an alien creature.

Production on Meditations has begun, performed and co-written by the incredibly talented Jenise Morgan. An enormously talented and prolific writer, producer, and actor of narrative and documentary film, Jenise will expertly guide you into an unfamiliar consciousness, where you will experience a little adventure on a lush, vibrant planet. Her film JUNK (lead actor and co-writer) will premiere at IFF Boston this year.

She says she's excited for this project because it "wiggles the meditation format into new shapes and takes listeners to another world."

Meditations is currently on track to release in July.

Composers Wanted!

There will be four meditations in this series, and I'd like each one to be composed by a different person. David Scott Russell, a performing pianist and gifted songwriter, will compose one. I'll compose another. That leaves room for a couple more.

If you enjoy composing electronic, ambient, or otherwise instrumental music, and you'd like to collaborate on this -- please reach out!

Spacetime Diaries in the papers!

The first season, "The Disappearing," got a little bit of attention around here in Portland. I had a really fun conversation with Gabriel Granillo at Portland Monthly, which was uploaded here:

The folks at Willamette Week wanted to know the story of how The Disappearing came together, so I give a bit of context on that here:

Oh, and I'm very stoked to share the reviews on Apple Podcasts:
