Meet Jenise Morgan
Jenise is an actor, writer and producer currently living in a dollhouse by the Hudson River. She's the narrator of BROKEN, a Netflix original documentary series, and the co-writer/lead actor of JUNK, which premiered at IFF Boston 2021.
You may have heard her in projects for the Natural Resources Defense Council, Yelp, Leinenkugel’s or wherever you get your podcasts. Jenise is currently writing a short film about plants that talk.
She's also produced television series for Netflix, MSNBC, CNN, Showtime, ESPN, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, Investigation Discovery and the Smithsonian Channel. Currently, she's the story producer on PAY OR DIE, an independent feature documentary about the insulin affordability crisis. Additional film credits include Sound of Redemption: The Frank Morgan Story (dir. N.C. Heikin) and The Wrong Light (dir. Josie Swantek Heitz, Dave Adams).
Jenise and I have been good friends for many years, but this is the first project we've worked on this closely together (she was a voice in The Disappearing, which you may remember). She co-wrote the meditations with me, recorded them for the podcast (to be uploaded soon!), and will be guiding you tonight.
I hear her charm, intelligence, and compassion come through in this work, and I have to pinch myself that I can work with such brilliant people.
